Location: Secondary Schools – Cardiff
Daily Rate: From £100+ per day
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday to Friday
Contract: Flexible, Term-Time Only

Hoop Education is excited to be recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Cardiff. You don’t need to be a qualified teacher — just confident, calm, and ready to lead a classroom.

Whether you’re looking for full-time consistency, part-time flexibility, or a new challenge during school hours, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and make a real impact in education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
• Maintaining a focused, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with tasks, answering questions, and encouraging engagement
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupil safety
• Collecting completed work and providing feedback to school staff
• Acting as a positive role model for students

✅ What You’ll Need:

• At least 6 months’ experience working with children or vulnerable adults
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• EWC registration (or willingness to register)
• A calm, organised approach with strong communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed
