Exam Invigilator

Prepare examination rooms, including seating layouts, notices, and required materials  

Maintain proper exam conditions throughout each session  

Distribute and collect exam papers and related materials  

Supervise candidates to ensure compliance with exam regulations and prevent malpractice  

Respond to candidate queries, escalating any issues to the Lead Invigilator where necessary  

Escort candidates as required  

Handle incidents or irregularities calmly and in line with procedures  

Accurately complete documentation and report concern to the examinations officer  

Assist with the secure handling and return of exam materials after each session  

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely  

Calm, professional, and observant approach  

Effective communication skills  

Ability to manage groups of students in a quiet and controlled environment  

Reliable, punctual, and adaptable  

Previous experience is beneficial but not required, as full training will be provided  

Trustworthy and discreet  

Confident and approachable  

Able to remain focused for extended periods  

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team  

Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS (or hold a current DBS)  

Availability during peak exam periods, including early mornings  

Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc or seasonal basis  

Flexible, with shifts offered on a day-to-day or sessional basis
