About the Role

We are currently recruiting reliable and attentive Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Powys during examination periods.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that examinations run smoothly and in accordance with exam regulations. You will supervise students during exams, help maintain a calm and organised environment, and ensure all exam procedures are followed correctly.

This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, responsible, and able to remain vigilant while working in a quiet environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during examinations
• Ensure exam conditions are maintained in line with exam regulations
• Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
• Assist with setting up and clearing exam rooms
• Monitor students to prevent malpractice
• Report any irregularities to the exam officer or school staff

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain focused for extended periods
• Good communication skills
• Professional and reliable attitude
• Ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable

• Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator
• Experience working in a school or education setting
• Flexibility during exam seasons
