The Role

As an ALN Teacher, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enriching learning for ALN pupils of all ages and abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with lesson delivery and challenging classroom management.
• Helping prepare learning materials and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion for all learners.
• Monitoring pupil progress and sharing feedback with teachers and parents.
• Working collaboratively with other teaching staff and school teams.

What We’re Looking For

• PGCE/PCET qualification or equivalent.

• Previous experience teaching children within school-based settings – ALN based settings is preferred.
• Experience supporting ALN pupils on a 1:1 or group basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
