Are you an enthusiastic ALN Teacher looking for a new opportunity within school-based settings in January?

Have you got previous experience teaching pupils within ALN or PRU based settings?
Hoop Education – a trusted supplier of educational staffing solutions – is currently seeking part-time and full-time ALN Teachers to work in SEN, Primary, Secondary and FE schools across the Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

The Role
As an ALN Teacher, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enriching learning for ALN pupils of all ages and abilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with lesson delivery and challenging classroom management.
- Helping prepare learning materials and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion for all learners.
- Monitoring pupil progress and sharing feedback with teachers and parents.
- Working collaboratively with other teaching staff and school teams.
What We’re Looking For
- PGCE/PCET qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching children within school-based settings – ALN based settings is preferred.
- Experience supporting ALN pupils on a 1:1 or group basis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
