Hoop Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our supply team, supporting a variety of nurseries across Merthyr Tydfil. Whether you're looking for full-time hours or a part-time role that fits around your lifestyle, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an agency-based position, offering ongoing flexible work throughout the academic year. While this is not a permanent role, many of our candidates enjoy consistent weekly placements and the opportunity to work in a range of welcoming nursery settings.
Your Role
- Support the care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5 years.
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and nursery staff.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's development.
- Promote children's personal, social, and emotional wellbeing.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
What We're Looking For
- CCLD Level 3 qualification (or recognised equivalent in Childcare/Early Years) – essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
- Reliability, professionalism, and flexibility to work across different nursery settings.
