Employee Owned Trust (EOT)

Our People. Our Company. 100% employee owned.

Our People, Our Company. 100% Employee Owned.

At Hoop Recruitment, we’ve always believed in putting people at the heart of everything we do. Now, we’re excited to announce the next step in that journey—we have officially become 100% employee owned by transitioning to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This pivotal move reflects our dedication to our team, culture, and clients, ensuring that Hoop’s future is firmly in the hands of the people who make our company what it is.

What is an EOT?

An Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) is a business model that allows employees to own a controlling stake in the company. In our case, every Hoop Recruitment employee with at least 12 months of service is now a beneficiary of the EOT, meaning they have a direct share in the company’s success. Rather than external investors or a small group of shareholders, ownership is shared among all employees, giving them a say in key decisions and a portion of the profits.

This model is more than just a financial structure—it’s a powerful tool for fostering engagement, collaboration, and long-term commitment. Research consistently shows that employee owned businesses perform better than traditionally owned companies, with greater innovation, productivity, and employee satisfaction. For Hoop, the EOT ensures that the values and culture that have shaped us will remain intact, while also driving future growth.

A People-First Approach to Business

Hoop has always been about people, whether it’s our team of "Hoopies" or the clients and candidates we work with. Since our founding in 2016, we’ve operated with a people-first mindset, building meaningful relationships and fostering a strong internal culture. This transition to employee ownership was the natural next step in securing our future as a company that thrives on collaboration and shared success.

With the EOT model, our employees now have an even stronger stake in the company’s future. Profits will be shared among all eligible employees, ensuring that everyone benefits from the hard work they put in. As a result, our team members feel more motivated and invested in the company’s long-term success.

What This Means for Our Candidates and Clients

For both candidates and clients, our transition to employee ownership enhances the level of care and commitment you can expect from us. Every member of the Hoop team now has a personal stake in the company's success, meaning we're even more motivated to deliver exceptional results. Whether you're a candidate seeking your next career opportunity or a client looking to fill critical roles, you’ll benefit from working with a team that is deeply invested in achieving the best outcomes.

With this new structure, you can expect the same high-quality service we’ve always provided—now backed by a stronger sense of ownership and accountability. Our goal is to drive value at every step, ensuring that both candidates and clients experience a partnership that’s built on trust, collaboration, and mutual success. As we grow together, you’ll see an even more engaged and motivated team dedicated to meeting your needs and exceeding your expectations.

Why We Chose an EOT

When considering our next chapter, we explored several options to secure Hoop’s future. We chose the EOT model because it aligns perfectly with our core values, drive, integrity, empathy, and expertise. This structure allows us to protect what makes Hoop unique—our culture, our way of working, and our dedication to delivering results for our clients.
