Cardiff Youth Justice Service is on an improvement journey following a HMIP inspection, where we are striving to achieve excellent outcomes for all children and young people in our service. To help us continue with our positive progress to date and to divert children and young people from the youth justice system we are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated prevention case manager. You will have an understanding of the criminal justice system as it affects children and young people (aged 10 –17) who offend and/or commit anti-social behaviour. You will have an understanding of the principles of restorative justice and restorative approaches, have experience of working with disaffected children and young people and able to evidence building positive relationships with young people. Ideally you will have experience of undertaking assessments, in addition to planning appropriate and targeted interventions to reduce the risk of offending/re-offending.
