Hoop Social Care are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to work with adults with learning disabilities in Bridgend and the surrounding area. The adults you would be supporting can have physical disabilities, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health needs. This position will promote these adults to live valued and positive lives in the community. This company have been based in South Wales for over 30 years and they aim to promote independence and confidence to encourage these adults to take control of their lives. The role will involve working full-time hours with a mixture of day, waking night and sleep in shifts.
  • Support to obtain professional qualifications

  • Teach and develop new life and social skills
  • Promote positive communication and relationships
  • Work with person centred care plans
  • Inventive approaches to promote new opportunities and activities
  • Previous Support Worker experience with Disabilities - physical disabilities, mental health and challenging behaviour (Desirable)
  • Flexibility in working hours to include waking nights, sleep-in shifts and weekends
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Strong communication skills
