Description

Hoop Social Care are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to work with adults with learning disabilities in Cardiff. This position enables these adults to live positive and valued lives within the community. This company is based in South Wales and aim to promote independence and confidence to these adults to take control of their lives. The role will involve working a full-time rota with a mixture of shifts being worked through out the day and nights with sleep in shifts.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach new life skills to those you work with
  • Promote social skills through positive communication and relationships
  • Implementation of detailed person centred care plans
  • Creative and enthusiastic approaches to promoting new opportunities
Requirements:
  • Previous Support Worker experience with Learning Disabilities (Desirable)
  • Flexibility with working hours to include weekends, nights and sleep in shifts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
