Leaving Care Social Worker

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking for a highly motivated agency social worker to join the Leaving Care Team. You will be one of 5 social workers, working alongside 5 personal advisors, a support worker and report to the Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager. This exciting opportunity invites you to work with Care Experienced children and young people 16 - 25 year olds, many of whom are subject to long term Care Orders. The Umbrella pay rate for this role is £41 an hour.

This is an exciting time to join the Leaving Care Team as we are expanding in response to capacity, we have many new pilot projects for our Care Leavers being initiated which you can become involved with and you will be joining a very welcoming, supportive and dedicated team of staff, many of whom are long standing team members. You will receive an `open door` policy of support from the team manager and assistant team manager and Agile working arrangements where you will be asked to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week and the rest of time working from home.
