- Description
We are looking to recruit a small number of experienced social workers for Cardiff Council, to support identification and assessment of Kinship foster carers, through the process of converting to Special Guardianship roles. Relevant applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations and experience of or transferable skills relevant for these roles. Successful applicants will be responsible for process from initial contact to presentation at panel. There is no role of supervising social worker within these roles. These are work from home roles but will require in person visits for the purpose of assessments.

Required –
Social Work Degree (or equivalent)
Social Care Wales Registration
Enhanced DBS on Update Service (can help with this if needed)
