Role Overview – What You’ll Do:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of secondary school subjects in the teacher’s absence.  
  
  
• Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
  
  
• Engage students with the set work, providing support and encouragement where needed
  
  
• Confidently manage behaviour in line with school policies, using positive strategies
  
  
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.
  
  
• Record and communicate any issues, incidents, or student progress to relevant teaching staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with or supervising young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, care, education)
  
  
• Confidence, resilience, and the ability to lead a classroom independently
  
  
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  
  
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude
  
  
• Own transport is essential – many schools are outside the city centre
